Black Lips announce new album, Underneath The Rainbow
The Black Lips have announced a new album for 2014.
Underneath The Rainbow follows on from 2011′s Arabia Mountain and will be released on 18 March. The LP was partially produced by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys and features Mastodon’s Brent Hinds.
It doesn’t, however, see a previously-expected guest spot from Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox. ”Bradford was supposed to come, but he never showed up,” bassist Jared Swilley told Rolling Stone. “He kept saying he was gonna come by, but he never did. He blew it.”
