One half of hip-hop duo Outkast, Big Boi has been forced to cancel his current joint-tour with Killer Mike after undergoing a knee surgery.
Big Boi had been playing shows with the rapper as part of their Shoes for Running tour, with six weeks left to run on the stint. But now it’s been confirmed that the remaining dates will be pushed back to September.
Meanwhile, it’s also been a horrible week for Outkast cohort Andre 3000, whose mother passed away on Monday (27 May), on what was Andre’s 38th birthday.
Our thoughts are with Andre at this time, and we wish Big Boi a speedy recovery from surgery.
