Azure Blue streams new LP Beneath The Hill I Smell The Sea on Best Fit [Premiere]
Tobias Isaksson, the man behind Azure Blue, is streaming his new record Beneath The Hill I Smell The Sea ahead of its release tomorrow.
This is the Swedish producer's third full-length as Azure Blue (he's also involved with Personal Trainers and Nite Flights), and it follows 2013's sophomore Beyond The Dreams There's Infinite Doubt. Fusing sticky beats, sultry strings and smooth '80s guitars - sometimes a bit of soaring French horn too - Isaksson creates a complex pop world that's all too easy to find yourself lost it. It includes huge dreamgaze single "Every Ending Story" and the recently-shared "Reflections Of Light".
The album is out via Isaksson's Hybris Records on 13 May digitally, and physically via Fika on 15 June.
Azure Blue plays Stockholm's Debaser on 15 May.
