Twin Wild unshackle rampaging rock single "My Heart"
Power-pop outfit Twin Wild whack the energy up to 11 on sensational new single "My Heart", which debuts today on Best Fit.
"My Heart" is a stomping, hell-raising inferno fuelled by wiry guitar licks jutting out at odd angles, bluesy hooks, snarl-infested verses, slick stadium-ready vocals, and a Foals-y penchant for the unexpected. This is a mammoth offering from Twin Wild, who prove themselves as ready-to-go beasts with their sights trained on the top of the dogpile.
Frontman Richard Hutchison says of the song: “'My Heart' is a reflection on the sacrifices involved in achieving your ambitions, but equally the rush that comes with it. It’s definitely the song that resonates most with us as a band.”
Adam Noble (Placebo, Fatherson) is on production duties. "My Heart" is the follow up to self-released heavy hitter "Fears", and is the band's first release on Play It Again Sam (Mew, Ghostpoet, Agnes Obel) - it's out now.
Twin Wild are set to play London's Boston Music Room on 14 September (14+ only).
