Continuing to stand head and shoulders against the current crop of massively talented UK based female pop talent in 2013 is Laura Welsh who returns with the confident and deliciously sassy ‘Undiscovered’.
Co-written by Dev Hynes, the track showcases Welsh’s understated vocal to fine effect; all knowing swagger and sultry throatiness. Following up ‘Cold Front’ – one of the finest singles of the year so far – was no mean feat, but ‘Undiscovered’ opens the flood gates to further reveal a singer of grand potential and sees her lead the pack alongside (the return of) Clare Maguire and Bebe Black as one of the most exciting new voices of the year.
