Ambient trio Arctic Lake share the mellow and melodic "For Us"
The refreshing sound of North London's Arctic Lake is as elegant and cool as hiking across the beautiful glaciers of the northern hemisphere. You can't quite comprehend the beauty, yet it manages to grasp your attention for the entirety of your visit.
Riddled with ever angelic vocals from frontwoman Emma Foster, newcomers Arctic Lake plunge into the frozen depths of the fast approaching winter while entwining a beautifully melodic infectiousness that is burning hotter than the sun.
Chilled, ghostly vocals blend beautifully with a crisp beat, drawing you into the track's elegance. A subtle guitar melody beams with winter sunlight, drizzling the track in a bittersweet syrup. The song bursts with colour and glacial grace.
Speaking about the track, the band says: “On ‘For Us’ we wanted to try something with slightly more energy than our past two singles, venturing slightly out of our comfort zone, while still trying to preserve a sense of sincerity and emotion."
