Watch: Siv Jakobsen -"Dark" [Premiere]
Norway's Siv Jakobsen is sharing the serene new visuals for upcoming single "Dark", exclusively on Best Fit.
The single follows "How We Used To Love", released earlier this year - we premiered the video for that too, and you can watch it here.
Jakobsen's track is a gentle, haunting paean that boasts glittering acoustic melodies, swooning strings and acoustic bliss. The video, which takes place in the snowy wilds of her Scandinavian homeland, sees Jakobsen listlessly wandering the frost-encrusted land, struggling at times to even stand. Directed by Jørgen Nordby, it's a solemn visual counterpart to her beautiful new noise.
"Dark" is released 13 April via Nordic Mellow Records.
Jakobsen will be playing the UK soon: she’ll be playing The Fishbowl, Friday 15 May at 4pm for The Great Escape's Alternative Escape.
