Pleasure House offer a vibrant taste of debut EP with "Cyan"
Birmingham quartet Pleasure House have shared a new track from their forthcoming EP Show Your Colours.
Reinvigorating the sun-kissed and jangling guitar sounds that flooded through so much of Birmingham's music scene a few years ago, "Cyan" nods back to the old favourites we've not had chance to rediscover.
More than a refreshing take on a trusted formula, the track swims through a sea of infectious riffs and phasing refrains with a blissful confidence and a streetwise sincerity. Contagious chimes resound with the hazy heat of summer, a potent contrast to the uncompromising lyrics.
Pleasure House celebrate the launch of their debut EP at Birmingham's Sunflower Lounge on 8 April, before supporting ALXNDR in Leicester and Glasgow. Stream "Cyan" below, and find details of the group's upcoming tour dates beneath.
