The Line of Best Fit
Mysterious London based production duo Perplexus have emerged with enticing first cut “Put You On.”
Taking their queue from break through acts like MNEK and Jakwob, Perplexus’ effort is a throw-back aficionados dream: all smooth vocals and slick R&B beats, “Put You On” recalls the best of 90s 2-step. It’s not just about looking backwards though, Perplexus tie everything together with a distinctly modern sheen, their tripping percussion and warped, creeping synth hooks giving it that late night dance floor flavour.
“Put You On” will be released 6 July, you can pre-order the single here.
