Listen: BELGRAVE - “Is Love Enough” [Premiere]
There is undoubtedly a growing gap in the market for up-and-coming male artists. The likes of George Ezra and Hozier are flying the flag thanks to their dramatic brand of dark-pop but space nonetheless remains. BELGRAVE has all the potential to soar into this gap.
We know almost nothing about the unsigned, unmanaged London-based singer but this first outing speaks for itself. Pristine production provides a bed for the song’s centrepiece: an immaculate and arresting vocal. Lyrical honesty heightens the melancholic passion through its simple and relatable message, while the brooding hue brings to mind the powerful seduction that connects so many to Banks.
Dark, dramatic and emotionally-charged, “Is Love Enough” premieres at Best Fit and is certainly more than enough to keep our eyes fixed on BELGRAVE for the foreseeable future.
