Aiden Grimshaw unspools the orange glow of MEMEB collaboration "Virtually Married" [Premiere]
We've kept our eye on Blackpool pop-artisan Aiden Grimshaw as much as possible, but he'd slipped out of vision following the release of 2013 EP Aiden.
Two years on, he's back. Fresh from an Iberian sojourn, Grimshaw has shared a collaboration with Spain's MEMEB called "Virtually Married". Flitting through shimmering nu-garage synths and crisp dance beats, it's clear that Grimshaw's got his mind set on igniting commotion on the dancefloor - an addictive, simple chorus, infectious Balearic hooks, and chilled-out auras all point to an exciting new chapter for Grimshaw.
Grimshaw said of the tune: "The track is a brief insight into my trip to Spain to work with artist-producer MEMEB, Virtually Married places emphasis on how quickly everything can change & once there is change, you struggle to remember how it was before."
Any new release that may arise will follow his 2013 EP and 2012 LP Misty Eye. The latter featured "Is This Love", which Grimshaw performed in session for us.
