MOTHXR's photo diary from their European tour
Brooklyn-based electro outfit MOTHXR recently embarked on a European tour, and they’ve documented the journey in a brilliant set of photos for us with everything from post-gelato frenzies to tube naps and even a trip to the English countryside.
Following their European dates, MOTHXR are currently set for a US tour through April and May, including dates supporting Poliça.
MOTHXR’s LP Centrefold, featuring the singles ‘Victim’ and the title track, is out now on Kitsuné Musique/Sony Music UK.
Listen to the single 'Stranger' while you check out their photo adventures.
Pyramids Centre in Portsmouth. Not quite Eqyptian, but the name felt apt .We couldn't figure out how to enter the building for about 20 mins and it was deserted. Odd vibe. Slate gray skies.
This is inside. Much warmer. Color.
Haunted rooms in the UK. Darren and Simon vogueing for ghosts.
Zurich. Top of a church tower.
Magritte exhibit in Brussels. Definitely a highlight. I think it's the most any of us have enjoyed a museum in recent memory.
Idles. Idols. Brussels.
Penn plays guitar at soundcheck. Melts faces.
Triumphant show in Belgium. Hands up.
Jimmy on bass. Supreme Supreme hoodie. He nearly lost it several times on tour. Bad move. Limited edition.
Penn at soundcheck in London in his finest tour couture.
We included some fans in a video shoot for Underground right before soundcheck in Manchester. This you'll see soon.
I don't know what the hell this is.
Coming apart in Milan.
Milanese crowds do it better.
I don't remember where this is. Probably Zurich. There are rivers everywhere.
Outside an epic church in the center of Milan, post-gelato frenzy, totally hazed out.
Don't do it, Simon. Devin will murder.
Meditating/napping on the train. Simon is actually dreaming about me there, no lie. Ask him.
Shooting another video in the English countryside. Pulled over right quick to pop on off. (We shot a video for every song while on the road this trip. Wait for ittttttt....)
