Aidan Knight announces new album Each Other, signs to Full Time Hobby
Canadian singer/songwriter Aidan Knight has signed to Full Time Hobby, and will release a new record called Each Other next year.
To celebrate the news, he's also shared a new single called "All Clear" and detailed an array of EU shows, including a one-off date at The Islington on 1 October.
Each Other was recorded with producer Marcus Paquin (The National, Local Natives) and his band in Bathouse Studio near Millhaven Maximum Security Prison. The process was arduous and detailed, "piecing together the raw energy of the live show along with the layered textures that could only be captured in the studio". Speaking about the process, Knight says: "Marcus, guided an unruly collection of ideas and a sometimes impulsive person (me) with remarkable patience (Marcus is also a new father).” Each Other was mixed over a very cold winter by Mathieu Parisian, known for his work with Patrick Watson and Karkwa, and very familiar with intricately elaborate recordings."
Each Other is released via Full Time Hobby in 2016. It follows 2012's Small Reveal.
