Read Grimes' eco-friendly, pet-heavy rider

Grimes’ blog is always a pleasure to read, how else would we get our reviews of vegan ice cream? Now, the avant-pop musician has posted some snippets from her gig rider because , well, she’s “obsessed with reading other peoples’ riders”.

The excerpts include requests that “everything is conducted in as green and eco-friendly a manner as possible backstage”, with the Canadian native requiring “reusable and not disposable” crockery and cutlery. Such things considered off-limits include anything with plastic lids or wrapping, bottled water and even “any candy”.

A particular highlight is the pet request: ”If possible, one cute bulldog, french bulldog, pug or pomeranian (or other cute animal, such as a chinchillia or a pekanese) to visit or hang out”.
