Some very exciting news awaited me in my inbox this morning. The Duke Spirit, who in my opinion have been away for far too long, are finally making their return with a 4-track E.P entitled Ex-Voto. It’ll be released on October 22nd over three formats; CD, Download and 10″ Vinyl. Three of the songs (Lasoo, Dog Roses and MASCA) were recorded earlier this year at the ‘Rancho De La Luna’ in Joshua Tree, California with producer Chris Goss (QOTSA). The fourth track, A Wild Hope, was produced by the band in two days at legendary producer Flood’s bedroom studio.

The EP is streaming in full over on the bands official site in the “music” section. It’s very, very good. Go and have a listen.

Apparently there will also be a hand full of shows in London next month, with a full UK tour being booked for November. As soon as we have the dates, we’ll post them.
